Dear Clean Creeders,
These unprecedented times have unraveled the business world – especially for the backbone of our economy, small businesses.
That's why we resolved to Buy Small. We wanted to buy the products we now need from U.S.-owned small businesses instead of from the retail giants and overseas companies.
But Buying Small wasn't as easy as we thought. We spent hours, days, weeks weeding through websites only to find a handful of small, woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned businesses highlighted or promoted.
Why? Because small businesses are run by regular people – not by algorithms. Small business products get lost in the big-budget advertisements, complex search algorithms, and worldwide content churned out from the big boys.
When we decided to change that, Clean Creed was born.
Clean Creed helps you find great products from U.S.-based small businesses that align with our CLEAN Core Values – the lens through which we evaluate how we operate and which products we list.
This is our purpose, our way to contribute to society, to live a more meaningful life, and to be of service.

Dr. Johnson is a Board-Certified interventional cardiologist and physician executive offering 18+ years of distinguished service within prestigious clinical, corporate, and academic environments. Dr. Johnson is our sounding board when we find a product that makes wellness claims. Are these appetite-suppressing lollipops legit? No? Dang! Thank you, Dr. Johnson!
We joke that we’re “Chandler’s Angels,” because we do anything she tells us to do. Since graduating from college, Chandler’s worked as the Marketing Director of Kathy Fielder Boutique and Isabella Collection by Kathy Fielder. She’s a Type A, creative, a team player, a go-getter, and now part of our Clean Crew! Good morning, Chandler!
Jodi started on screen in shows like Empire, but now she's moved on to her own "empire" as a social media strategy and personal development coach. Jodi joins us to help keep our social on point and help Clean Creeders get visibility, sales conversions, and engagement online. Thank you, Jodi!
Ashley is the owner of AYI & Associates, a sustainable design firm and California furniture manufacturer. Ashley helps Clean Creed evaluate small businesses for sustainability, such as legally harvested forest products, responsibly produced plantation products, and recycled content. Thank you, Ashley!
Roshi is the founder of Dallas’ own, Society Bakery. First propelled into fame when Ellen DeGeneres named Roshi’s cupcakes as one of the Top Ten Cupcakes in America, Roshi continues to daily mix her three great passions: baking, creativity, and the desire to lead a meaningful life. Roshi joins us as a sounding board for Food + Drink small businesses. Thank you, Roshi!
Anastasia is an aspiring attorney, serial entrepreneur, and the creative mind behind numerous brands at just 22 years old. She has a true passion for women-owned businesses in part to her grandmother who moved to the U.S. at just 17 years old and began to sew and hand-make clothing from her home. Anastasia joins us to help find the stories, people, and products that meet all of our CLEAN criteria to partner with us and join our Shop Small mission.
